1. AN IMMERSION BLENDER –

For Purees, soups, finely chopped onion or garlic, whipped yoghurt or dressings, homemade mayonnaise .

2. A DIE CAST FRYING PAN – NON TEFLON

3. A HOT WATER KETTLE –

Waiting for water to boil takes a long time. An electric kettle, especially the ones that have high wattage, boils water within a short span of time. Imagine the time and effort you save to steam veggies or cook rice. Its also that much easier to prepare infused tea.

4. A KITCHEN SCALE

It’s very easy to make a mistake in an accurate portion size. A kitchen scale will let you know precisely how much one serving of cereal is, or how much chicken breast you need to cut into your salad. This eliminates any unwanted excess calories and keeps you on track with your eating plan.

5. MEASURING CUPS AND SPOONS :

For the same reason that you have a scale, cooking at home becomes much easier when you have accurate measuring tools. Here are my favourites.

6. A STEAMER BASKET

steamer basket is the most simple way to steam vegetables. Its inserted directly into a pot or pan (over a pot of rice or dal thats already cooking for example). The concept is rather simple, you just need a little bit of water in the pot, place your veggies in the basket and then place it over the pot. Quick and easy veggies , ready in 5 min!

7. INDUCTION BASE PRESSURE PAN

I have used this utensil so much, and loved it everytime. Its versatile, allows for flat open cooking, thus less likely to make a mush, and can be used for literally everything from sups, to dals to sabjis to rice items. It uses less oil, and reduces your cooking time by half – who doesn’t need that!

8. A BULLET BLENDER

A bullet blender is a personal sized blender that is designed to be used as a space saving replacement for other appliances such as a blender, food processor, and electric juicer. Its useful for single or small portion foods, sauces and smoothies, and can make a batch of “nice-cream” in a jiffy without burning out its blades. Its easy to clean, and makes things super fast and efficient. Its Available in different permutations to suit your needs and budget too.
